Lower Cost Vaccination Program Information

Dodgeville Veterinary Service is now offering a preventive care program to help lower income pet owners. By providing affordable preventive examinations and basic vaccinations, we can now help protect more pets in our community. This program is made possible by generous donations from clients and our rewards program members to the Veterinary Care Charitable Fund (Dodgeville Veterinary Service specific fund).

Please make sure that all dogs are on a leash or in a carrier and all cats need to be in a carrier (we have carriers for use with a deposit).

Services:
Your pet will receive a basic examination by the veterinarian which includes: skin, eyes, ears, mouth, teeth, temperature and overall body. If minor health issues are detected we may recommend scheduling a follow-up appointment.

Vaccination Laws
State law requires all dogs be vaccinated for rabies by age 4 months. Certain cities may also require rabies vaccination for cats. If you pet has a current rabies, please show proof at this visit. Unvaccinated pets 3 months and over will receive a rabies vaccination at the owners expense.
