Dodgeville Veterinary Service-Veterinary Care Charitable Fund

The Veterinary Care Charitable Fund® is a program created by the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF). The donations for this fund are from our clients along with Dodgeville Veterinary Service contributing 1% of all the sales of our Rewards Members.

Funds are for good samaritan cases, assist in a financial crisis, funding for harmed or displaced pets due to a local disaster, or care for service pets. Funds are granted on cases by case basis by the doctor’s and staff of Dodgeville Veterinary Service

Funds must be available in order to grant any requests.

Dodgeville Veterinary Service are proud members of the Dodgeville Chamber of Commerce. Jamie Holter has been on the Executive Board and on the event committee through the Chamber. We have volunteered for The Blues Fest, the Grilled Cheese Event and more.

The Iowa County Humane Society (ICHS) is a no-kill, non profit animal sheltering. They believe that all animals should have a change for a loving home. We started working with ICHS many years ago offering discounted services and going to the facility once a week for an hour to examine and treat any pets in need. We also have spayed and neutered pets at a greatly reduce fee.

The WVMA represents the veterinarians in Wisconsin and its mission is to advocate and promote veterinary medicine, while enriching animal and human health. Dr. Holter was on the Executive Board of the WVMA 2013-2016. Then Dr. Alan Holter was elected President Elect of the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA) at the annual state convention this October. Dr Holter was the President Elect position in 2018, President in 2019 and past President in 2020 of the WVMA.
